OUR STORY
Our vision is to be recognized as driving excellence in specialized services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex needs.
A registered not-for-profit charitable organization, CWSDS is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
CWSDS provides a wide range of community and supportive living services for people and their families. Our community-based services and supports are available throughout the municipalities of Halton, Peel and Dufferin and the regions of Waterloo and Wellington. Additionally, we support people at five specialized supportive living programs located at 53 Bond Street in Oakville, and at eight supportive living homes in the communities of Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Halton Hills and Georgetown.
Our story is told through our organizational achievements, our community partnerships, our history and the successes of the people we support.
