SHORT TERM ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT ENVIRONMENT (STATE)
STATE is a five-bed short-term (6 – 12 months) assessment and treatment home for individuals who have a dual diagnosis and are having difficulty living in their community home. People referred to STATE must be in active treatment with the Dual Diagnosis team. The clinical team and supportive living staff working at the STATE program are highly trained to support people experiencing challenging issues in their lives that are affecting their quality of life. The goal of the STATE program is to assess and treat the person so they can return to their home community and lead a full life.
