As leaders in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, we support our team to challenge and strengthen themselves by participating in training initiatives. The training programs listed represent programs CWSDS has developed or contributed to in the quest for continuous improvement and exemplary service with a special focus on mental health and complex needs.

Common Thread helps teams respond to and solve problems related to complex and challenging behaviours. Using the Common Thread Problem Solving Process and Tools, participating organizations will improve the service and quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex mental health needs. Common Thread requires a cross-section of program team members to participate in eight learning units over ten months both in-person and online.
