2 BOARD MEMBERS WANTED

Salary: Volunteer

The Board of Directors is seeking 2 new members who embrace change and are eager to contribute to the lives of the specialized populations that we serve. They must share the vision, purpose and values of CWSDS and be constructive and creative problem solvers, able to help the organization thrive in the rapidly-evolving Developmental Services sector. The board is assisted in its oversight by an experienced and effective senior management team.

Experience in developmental services or health and long term care sector is beneficial, as is knowledge of government relations. In the coming year, the board is particularly looking for individuals with a strong Human Resources background or Fundraising experiences. Prior board experience is an asset, but what we really want are individuals who are motivated to be involved with and contribute to an organization with a strong past and an exciting future! Meetings are held monthly in Oakville at our main facility.
